Overview

Fred Weber, Inc. (FWI) has over a 90 year history as an aggregate materials producer and heavy civil contractor. We are a premier industry leader in full-service contract surface and underground mine development, contract aggregate crushing, frac-sand mining and processing and the production of Reinforced Concrete Products. FWI operates numerous surface and underground aggregate mines in the St. Louis, MO area and performs mining, crushing and related contracting work for more than 10 different companies across the United States. Fred Weber Reinforced Concrete Products (FW RCP) acquired existing operations in 2015 that have been a staple in the Eastern Missouri and Western Illinois markets for over 40 years, which produces concrete pipe, box culverts and structures related to sanitary and storm water applications.

Position Summary

FW RCP is in search of a Project Manager capable of covering project responsibilities based mainly in the St. Louis Region. This position will be responsible for the evaluation, estimation, and management of a wide variety of utility related projects involving storm and sanitary RCP products. The desired candidate will have experience and/or education in civil engineering and related projects.

Candidate Profile:

  • BS degree in engineering preferred; will consider other degrees with applicable industry experience
  • Proficiency in deciphering job plans and specifications; familiarity with local agency standard specifications (i.e. MSD, St. Louis County, MoDot, IDOT) strongly requested
  • Capabilities in CAD design preferred
  • Strong leadership skills in task management and team coordination
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed, with minimal oversight needed.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate with personnel both within and outside organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively respond to urgent situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
